Giulia Gelmi
Giulia Gelmi is a PhD candidate in History of Art at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Focusing on the history of ornament, interpreted as a marker of national artistic identity, her research aims to analyze the Russian style, in the time span between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. She holds a BA in Cultural Heritage (University of Verona) and a MA in Economics and Management of Arts and Cultural Activities (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice). She is a member of the Centre for Studies in Russian Art (CSAR).
