Maria Lanko is curator, culture producer, and co-founder of The Naked Room gallery (Kyiv). She received her M.A. degree at Taras Shevchenko National University, Department of Oriental Studies and subsequently pursued a PhD at the University of Aberdeen (2015—2018). In 2008—2012 she worked as an art manager at several Ukrainian institutions, including Karas Gallery (2008), Eidos (2009), and Ya Gallery art center (2010—2012).
