SHERA’s Spring 2026 roundtable on “Digitalization in Art History” was dedicated to exploring digital tools for research, online archives, and virtual environments for museum collections. The speakers will address their essential work in using digital tools in art history, including the creation of the Reader in East-Central-European Modernism 1918–1956 at The Courtauld, the development of the online Norton Dodge Collection at the Zimmerli Museum, and the leadership of the virtual outlet of ARTMargins Online. The roundtable participants will also discuss future opportunities for digitalization and its transformative potential for art history.
